Google Photos to soon end free Unlimited Storage

Google Photos' free unlimited storage service for "high-quality" photos and videos will be phased out shortly.

On June 1, 2021, the latest Google Photos regulation will take effect. As a result, Google Images will only offer 15GB of free cloud storage for photographs and videos after three months.

You would have to pay for more storage if you reach the stated cap, which could be bad news for those who have submitted unlimited high-quality images to Google Photos for free.

Notice that data from Gmail, Google Drive and other Google services are also included in the 15GB cloud storage space.

Back in November 2020, Google revealed the latest policies and you now only have 3 months to determine whether you want to accept Google's policy or move to some other cloud storage.

Ok, there are a number of alternatives to Google Photos that provide free space for cloud storage.
